About The Collective.
The Michigan Marketing Collective (The MMC) is a student-led organization founded in 2025 that provides hands-on, client-facing marketing experiences for students at the University of Michigan.
In addition to monthly member meetings and active client projects, The MMC hosts career development workshops, speaker events, social events, and publishes a curated newsletter, The Collection— featuring industry insights, marketing trends, and club highlights. With a wide range of leadership and team roles, students are encouraged to apply their strengths, explore new skills, and grow within a supportive community.

With the internal pillars of education, professionalism, and networking, The MMC further equips students with the tools and confidence to succeed in the marketing world. Members gain practical experience in branding, campaign strategy, and content creation through both internal roles and external client partnerships.
